State Information

This information is transient in nature and used (exclusively?) by the PolicyEngine in its calculations of the next stable state of the cluster.

It contains cluster status information grouped by node. This information includes:

  • Health - if they are up, down, failed, etc
  • Relative health - is the node overloaded?, often failing?, etc.

  • Resources running (according to the LocalResourceManager)

  • Resources that are supported

This information is solicited from all ClusterNodes when the DesignatedCoordinator is first elected and when new ClusterNodes complete as part of the JoinProtocol.
