We work closely with several projects, supporting them, using their services, and making sure we're staying compatible with them.
These projects include:
We provide ldirectord to manage replicated LVS load balancers, and can support any other management entity that is started by a standard init script.
The Ultra Monkey project combines LVS with the Linux-HA software and provides good documentation for their integration. Ultra Monkey is run by long-time Linux-HA contributor horms.
DRBD is commonly used in Heartbeat clusters in order to provide replicated storage in lieu of shared storage.
OpenAIS provides virtual synchrony communication services which we can use for a high-quality communication layer below our APIs and services.
The EVMS volume manager is cluster aware, and uses Heartbeat membership and communication services to implement this function.
